Just got back from picking Nohemi from O'Hare. We were supposed to have arrived in Kalamazoo at around 7:30PM. Instead, we were nearly two and a half hours delayed. So here's the story...
... I just paid $0.50 in the Indiana Toll Road.... started to merge left then BAM! I ran over a giant pot hole.... or a baby sink hole. So it seemed to not have phased the Honda so I kept going. But we noticed about a quarter mile worth of cars pulled over on the right. More or less about 30 cars were on the side of the road. All of them ran over the same pot hole and deflated their tires. So I decided to just check mine out. Sure enough my front driver side rim was bent and the tire was slowly leaking air. I decided to not risk life and limb and drove to the next exit. Looked for a gas station and put my spare tire on. This happened around Gary, Indiana so the exertion that I made in replacing the tire and having to have breathe deeply probably shortened my life by a couple of years. After that was done, I had to gingerly drive back to Kalamazoo at 55 MPH... my usual speed 80-90 MPH.
