MacBook Etc

My MacBook arrived Monday morning. I haven't stopped playing with it since. It is so much faster than my Mac mini.

Monday, I took Adrian tot he golf range then hung out at the condo with Nohemi. I am hoping that he can join me and Nohemi for a day at beach this Saturday.

I got out of bed badly this morning. I pinched something and now I am extremely uncomfortable but not really in pain. I hope it goes away soon.

Reality TV

It is time for reality TV to end. It's sad when you hear, "I know how to play the game" in reference to a design show contest in reality TV format. It no longer means that talent, skill, etc that wins but the knowledge of rules and audience manipulation. I think this used to be called Court TV.

Langley Bridge

One of few covered bridges left in Michigan, at 282 feet, is the longest one left. Nohemi and I found it by accident while driving around aimlessly south of Kalamazoo. When we found it, we didn't have a camera with us so we decided for another trip there last Tuesday.

MacBook Woes

The procurement of the MacBook didn't go as I had envisioned.  I was expecting to take one home from the Apple Store at Woodland Mall in Grand Rapids.  But found out that they can only add RAM at the store and the stuff they have are not configurable.  I was forced to order my white MacBook with an upgraded 250 GB hard drive online.  So now I wait until the delivery guy shows up at the door.

Bust

It has been raining all day. Something with a food fest at the Arcadia Festival Place in downtown Kalamazoo that seem to bring the rain. Rains came for the Greek fest this year and now for the Taste of Kalamazoo.

Nohemi and I were planning a trip to the zoo in Grand Rapids this weekend but that got canceled. Another thing that got axed by the trip cancellation is the stop at the Apple Store. This has been a downer... not really a downer but more of an anti-climax of a weekend.

The Beach

Nohemi and I have spent the entire weekend in various beaches. Friday, we went to the beach at Fort Custer. Saturday, was at Oval Beach in Saugatuck. Sunday, at South Beach in South Haven. Such an enjoyable weekend!
