Garbage Driver

I slid into a curb today. Yup, I am the suck. I wasn't paying attention. Luckily, I was only going 20 MPH and I was able to maneuver the car so that nothing major happened. I flicked the back end so that the impact was, somewhat, flat sideways. I did bend one of the rims. Better than wreaking the alignment or more. I am due for a set of tires anyway.

Long Day

18 November 2008 at 10:03 PM

It's funny how driving can make a day seem so long. I drove from Kalamazoo to Detroit then back today. I've gone to Detroit with Daniel before he headed back to Germany and that trip seemed a lot shorter. So are the rides to Saginaw when I go there with Darwin. I guess, I am no longer entertaining enough for myself in the car.

Nohemi is buying me an iPod Touch for my birthday. I am so excited. Why can't they make the Touch have the same painted back as the iPhone? Why does Apple insist on using that scratch prone stainless steel looking material? It was shit on the old iPods, it's shit now. I guess when your goal is to have your users constantly discard the products you sell for new ones, the super evident wear and tear is a must.

NIN

Nohemi and I went to see Nine Inch Nails at the van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids.  It was a wonderful show.  The lighting is worth every cent that I paid for the tickets.  Nohemi has seen some concerts with spectacular effects but she thinks this is the best production that she has ever seen.  I am glad that Trent is a geek in this sense because his fans surely benefits from it.  I am definitely buying the tour DVD if they ever make it.  Also, definitely going to the next concert around the area.

We stopped at Darwin's place for Micah's birthday party.  It was cool to have seen all the peps that we haven't seen in quite a long while.
